SoyDak Foods™ began on our family farm in Herreid, South Dakota — the same land our family has worked for generations.
Out here, you learn quickly that weather changes, markets shift, and nothing is guaranteed. But hard work, family, and resourcefulness always carry you through.

For years we grew soybeans — one of the most complete plant proteins on earth — only to watch most of them leave the state or go toward animal feed.
We kept wondering:

“Why aren’t we turning this incredible crop into real food for the people who live right here?”

That question sparked the idea for Summus™.
